CE Class: Bias Override: Overcoming Barrier to Fair Housing9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Learn how to interrupt stereotypical thinking to avoid fair housing pitfalls and provide equal professional service to every customer or client. Participants will examine the history of bias in real estate, learn about the mind science of identity, study how implicit bias can result in fair housing violations, and engage in interactive exercises to enhance communication skills and business relationships with clients of all backgrounds.

The AAR Residential Purchase Contract is used in nearly every residential sales transaction.  How well do you know the basics of the contract? Using a Jeopardy style question and answer game, agents will review major parts of the residential purchase contract - like fixtures and  personal property, timeframes, inspections and the BINSR, and more - to deepen their understanding of contract terms and conditions.
