Lyndsey Fry, Olympic Silver Medalist and President, Arizona Kachinas

Olympic Silver Medalist and Chandler, AZ native Lyndsey Fry is the first person, male or female, from Arizona to represent Team USA in ice hockey at the Olympics and the first athlete from the state of Arizona to win a medal in the Winter Olympic Games. Prior to competing in the Olympics in 2014 in Sochi, Russia, she competed on two under 18 national teams and one senior national team in the World Championships where she won two gold medals and a silver. Her hockey career also led her to her education when she had the opportunity to play NCAA Division 1 ice hockey at Harvard University. She continued on after her playing career to get her MBA from Arizona State University. Her love of hockey and business led her to start her own ice hockey camp business, Lyndsey Fry Hockey, which allows her to travel to other non-traditional hockey markets around the Western United States and run camps for young girls. In 2018, she began her journey with the Arizona Coyotes and now serves as the President of the Arizona Kachinas girls hockey association which she cofounded for the organization. As of 2021, Fry has served as the Coyotes’ Radio Color Analyst as well as a TV Color Analyst for Bally’s Sports and the Professional Hockey Federation. Fry has been a motivational speaker and mental performance coach since 2016 and is passionate about helping people find happiness with purpose, on purpose. Lyndsey and her wife currently reside in Phoenix, Arizona. 

 

Marleny Gomez, President, Women's Council of REALTORS® Arizona

Marleny currently serves as president of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Arizona.   Launching her real estate career in 2005, Marleny comes from a background in healthcare management and patient advocacy. She enjoys working with people from all walks of life and understands the importance of good communication, customer service and personal commitment. She is also a Marine Corps veteran.

Throughout her decades in the real estate business, Gomez has become a pillar of the local real estate community, serving on the board of a number of associations. Past titles include: RPAC Major Investor (2022), WeSERV DEI liaison (2022), AAR DEI committee member (2022), NAR DEI Member at Large committee member (2022), WeSERV regional vice president (2021), NAHREP membership director for Greater Phoenix (2021 and 2020), WCR Karen Franz Scholarship co-chair (2021), WCR Arizona’s membership director (2020), WCR West Valley president (2019), NAHREP Community Leader Award recipient (2018) and WCR West Valley membership director (2017).

 

Pamela Hughes, Life Coach

Pamela is a seasoned broadcasting professional, certified life coach and captivating speaker.  With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, she has covered significant events like 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Gifford.  Pamela's broadcasting achievements include winning prestigious Edward R. Murrow Awards during her tenure at KTAR-FM.

As a certified life coach, she guides CEO's, business owners and high achieving women, empowering them to overcome limitations and discover their true capabilities.  Through her powerful presentations and transformative workshops, Pamela leaves a lasting impact on audiences.  She hosts the successful podcast "Unstuck Your Life with Pamela Hughes" and enjoys cooking, being a soccer mom, and seeking adventure through camping and snowboarding.  Pamela's dynamic blend of broadcasting experience and life coaching makes her a true force for positive change in the media industry and personal development realm.

 

Shelley Ostrowski, President, Arizona REALTORS®

Shelley has been in Real Estate for 24 years. She is the Designated Broker for Realty ONE Group Gateway and will serve as the Arizona REALTORS® President in 2024. She specializes in Residential resale REO and Military Relocation. 


In the community she has been a Wish Granter for Make A Wish AZ since 2005 and has granted over 100 wishes. In 2018 she received the Volunteer of the Year award from Make A Wish. She serves her Church by teaching CCD classes on Saturday and serving Eucharistic Ministry to hospital patients once a week. She was awarded the STAR award from President D. Patrick Lewis of the Arizona Association of REALTORS® in 2018 for her service to her community and real estate.

 

Courtney Johnson Rose, President, National Association of Real Estate Brokers

Dr. Courtney Johnson Rose serves as President of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, the premier network of Black real estate professionals and one of the oldest minority trade associations in the country with over 100 chapters nationwide.  Courtney began her career as a project management consultant at Accenture, the world’s leading consulting company. In 2002, she earned a Texas real estate broker license and joined her family’s real estate firm GEJ Development as a real estate developer and broker specializing in development services, owner representation, master planning, and residential and commercial brokerage services. Since 2019, Courtney has served as CEO of GEJ, and under her leadership, the company has procured contracts with major institutions such as Texas Southern University, the Harris Center of Mental Health, Houston Independent School District, the City of Houston, FDIC, and several banks, small businesses, and families. 

Courtney is the immediate past chair of the Texas Association of African America Chambers, a statewide network of over 25 Black chambers of commerce. Texas Governor’s office appointed Courtney as a director of the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC). Courtney has been a member of NAREB for over 20 years, she has been recognized as Realtist of the Year by her local board, state association, Region XII, and the national association. Courtney also was awarded the local board President award twice during her tenure as local board president of the Houston Black Real Estate Association.
