This Summit brings together brokers from around the state to address issues impacting brokerages and steps brokers can take to prepare their brokerage AND their agents for the changing shape of Arizona’s real estate industry while reducing risk as well as sharing insights on business best practices.

 

The National Association of REALTORS® has engaged celebrated real estate veteran Sherry Chris is an independent consultant and special advisor to the National Association of REALTORS® CEO Nykia Wright.

Sherry spent 18 years at Anywhere Real Estate Inc., most recently serving as executive advisor. Previously, she served as CEO of Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate (BHGRE) and ERA Real Estate, and both brands grew significantly nationally and internationally under her leadership. Before that, she was the chief operating officer for Coldwell Banker Real Estate.

Sherry has been deeply engaged in the real estate ecosystem for years, serving as chair of  The Realty Alliance, a founding corporate member of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance and member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America. Within NAR, she has served in a number of leadership roles, including as chair of the Large Residential Firm Real Estate Services Advisory Group, as a committee liaison and as a member of the board of directors. She has also been celebrated for her mark on the industry: She was inducted into RISMedia’s 2021 Newsmakers Hall of Fame and was named a 2021 HousingWire Woman of Influence. She’s frequently included in Inman’s list of 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders.
